Im not going to waste space and synopsis, each of review of the second or third gear. good indication of the challenge and the original film is the number of reviews on 1/10 and 10/10, where technical tenth consisting of only a few lines. pretty sure sign that the people werent able or willing to look with an open mind. Which is a good sign for the public generally give this movie berth.I no desire all I care about would see Requiem for a Dream. Not because they do not like it, or that it will teach them something they did not know before, but it's a rare piece of work that will challenge and perhaps change them. Its a film that has not been done before, and nothing to compare with it - a rarity these days. I often find myself recommending movies to people that I just can not explain. These are usually more involving and affecting them. Id like my family to see this, but can not * recommend * it to them. Ive recommended by two friends and they both had the same reaction: I'm glad I saw it, but I doubt Ill be in the mood to watch it again, knowing what feel.As I set out roll credits, I started to cry, but still Im sure why. Share in response to the recent devastating tragedy, part of the beauty (yes) of the film, part of my gratitude for the good things in my life. I saw it again last night with my boyfriend, not because I want to upset her, but I felt I had to share. After the credits rolled, we were all set for a good ten minutes. I found that I had thought I wanted to explain, but could not find the words no. This is one of the few films that is a painful experience, but I feel compelled to share with people I care about. Some others that short list includes the thin red line, Happiness, Rivers Edge, a film Deer Hunter.These all parts quality thats hard to mention. No one likes to feel disturbed or crushed and film, a work of art, a piece of music, but I feel these emotions faces and asked to think, not just be entertained, it is important for cur ing and then.Favorite applies to me - this is not about entertainment. One of the greatest experiences I've had a good look at the film. One of the five best movies I have ever seen.
