Review:
Note: I will be away from describing the plot in detail, because it would be very difficult to do without breaking objects. Inside Man starts as a no holds barred, action thriller with a high-octane, and its completely transformed through a film of theft tongue-in-cheek cheerful, reminiscent of The Sting. I heard it was a bit 'too traced, but that comes with the genre - the twists are all expected here, fortunately, in the most unexpected ways. Gimmicks abound, and do not really learn the background of the assault (ie, how the thieves got to know his fate), but the story and atmosphere more than make up for it. The plot also meticulously designed to compensate for the lack of a real 3D characterization - to save Denzel Washingtons ambitious police hero who achieved at least a level of humanity throughout history. The interaction between the character and his assistant (Chiwetel Ejiofor Serenity fame) and Captain frustrated starring Willem Defoe is great, with some sparkling dialogue. Clive Owen is fine most of the time convincing as the master of the crime, but spends most of the film wearing a mask. I would say that this film is harmless fun, and not the usual fare Spike Lee, who will prove its versatility. There is a suggestion in the back-story on some heavy issues of the past, but nothing more than a MacGuffin which reaches only a slight importance in the resolution of the film. There is a scam pure structural scenes for the use of flash-forward, suggesting the aftermath of the attack without giving a real purpose. Its sparingly used intelligently. I recommend this film is never boring for a moment, what's more, I liked it as much as the events were progressing towards the climax, I was hoping this would happen. And it is very rare for me to the movies today.
