Thank God I did not read the reviews posted before I saw the movie! A lot of reviews (including this page) waaayyyy say too much about the film, and it's just frustrating. But, as an avid Cinephile, I promise not to do same.Memento is one of those images that will have you sitting in the theater after the lights come on, so that you can talk to anyone about what they thought of the film. It is a very elegant and original puzzle game that will make you guessing from beginning to end, and even after. History and direction are the best I've seen so far this year, and it deserves credit for that gets.Plainly introduced, the film tells the story of Leonard Shelby: a man who has lost his short term memory assault where his wife was raped and murdered, and now he is looking for the killer, despite the difficulties. Simple. Dont know anymore.The film is constructed and told in such a way that it always was in the shoes of Leonard Shelby, played by Guy Pierce beautifully. Carrie-Ann Moss gives as mysterious and complicated operation. The film is well made it all around - Directing, Editing, and especially unique history, which is rare in Hollywood these days. Four stars This review may be a little dry on the details, but go see a movie - you'll be thanking me later.PS! Just go to the official website AFTER I saw the movie. It also gives you too much. Later, however, to go and look at it - it impressive.
